14th Annual Showcase Awards
Monday, June 16, 2003, Chair’s Reception 6:00 p.m. in the Oakes Foyer followed by the Banquet and Awards at 7:00 p.m. in the Oakes Ballroom.

One of the highlights of the AHP Conference is the annual presentation of the Showcase Awards, Canada’s only awards for health care development professionals. The 14th Annual Showcase Awards Banquet will be held in conjunction with the HCPRA Hygeia Awards.

The Showcase Awards honour excellence in health care fundraising programs and recognize the achievements of those striving to meet the highest standards in development, regardless of their resources, location or number of employees.

Awards are presented to development professionals and their organizations that meet or exceed their fundraising goals, develop innovative methods to the tried and true methods of raising funds, and/or successfully plan and implement a new program or project.

24th Annual HCPRA Hygeia Awards
Monday, June 16, 2003, Chair’s Reception 6:00 p.m. in the Oakes Foyer followed by the Banquet and Awards at 7:00 p.m. in the Oakes Ballroom.

Together we will celebrate the best of the best in health care communications in conjunction with the AHP Showcase Awards. The HCPRA Hygeia Awards recognize communicators who are leaders in the field. The awards highlight outstanding materials and accomplishments across Canada, encouraging professionals to strive for the highest standards, regardless of size, resources or location of their organization. Honours are given in 10 categories ranging from internal communications to web sites.

HCPRA will also present its annual Hollobon Award, a special Hygeia to commend excellence in health-related media coverage. This award goes to a print or electronic media journalist who has made a significant contribution to enhancing the public’s understanding of health and health issues.
