1. SECURING
MUNICIPAL SUPPORT
FOR YOUR HOSPITAL
FOUNDATION
One of the key
stakeholders for
any health centre
is the local municipality.
Having excellent
quality care close
to home is a key
issue for many
communities. Part
of protecting
the quality of
care is the financial
resources Foundations
raise for various
projects. Municipalities
have become major
funding partners
in this goal.
The session will
be an interactive
group discussion
with attendees
sharing strategies
that have
worked to secure
municipal funding
in their communities.
The session will
also cover some
pitfalls one can
experience during
a lengthy municipal
solicitation.

2. EMERGING
TRENDS IN DONOR
RELATIONS
From online giving
to privacy issues,
from accountability
to stewardship
of high-end donors,
this session will
examine the signficant
trends in
donor relations
and stewardship
today.

3. WHAT’S
HOT, WHAT’S
NOT
Join in a roundtable
setting to share
your thoughts
on issues at hand
and what might
arise in the near
future. Be prepared
to share your
experience in
matters of concern
and brainstorm
strategies around
the issues. This
is a practical,
problem-solving
workshop that
would be of particular
interest to foundation
leaders and those
with experience
and expertise
in specific fundraising
areas.
