  Message from the Conference Co-Chairs

Dear Colleagues,

There is no more beautiful setting in Canada than Whistler for our 2006 AHP Canada Conference!

Spectacular scenery, outstanding education, unrivalled opportunity to network and build relationships - this is a golden opportunity to experience your best conference of the year and prepare yourself to achieve Peak Performance - our conference theme.

Having spent all of our professional careers in Ontario before moving to British Columbia, we truly understand the beauty of this province and the warm reception you will receive from British Columbians, and we will work hard to make your Whistler visit one that you will remember for many years to come.

After registration your experience will begin with the opening reception and a trip to Merlin's!

We realize that we are also here to build our knowledge and performance and so we have assembled an outstanding and inspirational learning experience for you as well.

Monday starts with one of the world's foremost thinkers about leadership and inspiring people and organizations and a master teacher, followed by a full day of outstanding educational sessions from some of the best minds in Canadian philanthropy and ample opportunity to network with our outstanding team of exhibitors and sponsors.

And, to finish what is one of the longest days of the year, the very first AHP Canada best ball golf tournament at the spectacular Whistler Golf Course. For those not into hitting that little white ball - go relax at the Spa for an hour or two and then join us for the barbecue dinner at the "19th hole."

Tuesday morning it's back to work as we continue our education sessions and enjoy another inspiring experience at lunch where we will recognize the importance of working as a team - or "playing to the same beat" and finish the conference off on Tuesday evening with a spectacular awards gala.

But it doesn't have to end (or start) there!

Our hotel accommodation is the Whistler Westin Resort and Spa where every suite is designed for the ultimate in residential comfort and luxury with breathtaking views of the mountains, forested hills or Whistler Village.

Whistler is also the perfect location for a family visit; so why not stay for a few more days (or arrive early) and experience even more of the spectacular BC mountain scenery and activity at what will be home to many of the 2010 Winter Olympic events.

We look forward to seeing many of our old friends - and meeting many new ones as well - this June 18 - 20 in Whistler, British Columbia.

Don't delay. Register now and take advantage of the early bird rate.

Best regards,
