The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Canada is pleased to announce its new awards program that will build upon the tradition of excellence established by the Showcase Awards that were presented from 1991 to 2005.

Entries are encouraged from all AHP members in good standing. Self-nominations are welcome. If nominating someone else, please seek that person's permission prior to submission.

A national team of judges, comprised of AHP members, will select the winners whose names will be announced at the AHP Canada Regional Conference in Whistler, BC. The AHP Awards Banquet will be held on Tuesday, June 20 in conjunction with the Health Care Public Relations Association (HCPRA) Hygeia Awards.

2006 Awards Categories:

Culture of Philanthropy Award (maximum 40 points)
Outstanding Development Program (maximum 40 points)
Healthcare Fundraising Professional of the Year (2 awards) (maximum 40 points)

Small Shop: One or two full-time equivalent (FTE) staff
Large Shop: Three or more full-time equivalent (FTE) staff
